Building and Publishing Websites

If you are planning to build your own business or thinking of expanding your current business then the first thing you want to do is create your own website. There are several sites which offer free website creation, but that is just the half of the information.

It is important to know about what is required for building a good website so that you don't have to face problems. Some of my friends were trying to build and publish a website, and in the process of doing so they faced many difficulties, lack of information and unawareness about what all is required for building a website they faced a lot of trouble. 

To build a website either you can build on a guest website who will allow you to publish your website for free, by just adding their name at your site. But if you are looking for something more than this and want to create and host your own website then there are certain things that you should keep in mind and are very important.

First thing first before thinking of the website you need to buy a domain name for your website and this domain name should be unique. There are several websites which provides domain name, it is important to buy a domain name from a trusted site. 

Next thing that needs to be done after creating and buying a domain is the hosting of the site. This is also required for creating a site. Many companies provide hosting at various price ranges and of all of them the ones which which are for longer duration of time are usually cheap. I suggest that you buy the hosting period depending upon the type of plan you have for your site, If you are doing this for the first and are not that much invested in the idea then you should not spend much money on all this and should rather spend less money and see how it goes from there. But on the other hand if you are invested in the idea are fully devoted towards your company and want to do anything in your power to promote your company, then you should take a long term plan. 

Some sites sells both these domain and hosting in a package and sometimes gives the domain free with the hosting package. Do compare the prices of the hosting and domain package from a bunch of different websites before investing. Depending on your needs such as more data protection, more space, or a faster access buy the best hosting service which is suited to your needs.

After you have gone through all this, you are ready to build your own website. This is a time consuming task. There are several sites which offer free website building platform but almost all of them require you to buy a domain and hosting service also from that site. No need to worry!! almost all the domain and hosting sites provide a site builder with the package. But if you do not find what you are looking for in those templates then you can also link an account with the "weebly" app, but depending upon if your site provides you with a free "weebly" account you might have to pay. If you do not want to pay more and just want to publish a free site then either you can write your own code and make your own website yourself or use the website builder which was provided by your domain provider.

After all this your site is ready to go live and you are ready to make some profit and increase your business. 
Don't think that your work is done after building your site and spending for everything. Your work has just started, you will have to promote your site. 

Promoting your site is more important than building it, promotion is what will get you more readers, give your site link at all of your social media profiles, leave the link of your site at different related sites and tell other people about your site.
